ANTIQUE STEVENS “RANGER” CAST IRON CAP GUN 1890****

Description

This “RANGER” cap gun was made in 1890 with a four star rating for rarity. It is described in Sam Logan/Charles Best book “Cast Iron Toy Guns and Cap Shooters” on page 119 (R3.2). This cap gun is 7 3/8 inches in length. It is a single shot, single action, which means it has to be cocked every time to fire it. The gun has a cylinder which doesn't rotate. The word “RANGER” is clearly embossed on the left side of the gun and PAT JUNE 17 1890 on the right side of the gun. This cap gun is brown and in excellent condition. Please refer to the pictures.
This is a toy cap gun. It cannot be altered to shoot any type of projectile.
